Mr. Silton’s practice focuses on elder law, estate planning, guardianships, probate, benefits advocacy and litigation, and special education advocacy and litigation.
Mr. Silton is an active member of the King County Bar Association and Washington State Bar Association, Guardianship and Elder Law, Probate and Real Property, and Juvenile Law Sections. He is the Co-Chair of the Programs Committee for the Guardianship and Elder Law Section of the King County Bar Association.
Before working at Dussault Law Group, Mr. Silton practiced law in Chicago, Illinois, servicing as a Guardian Ad Litem and Attorney for abused and neglected children at the Cook County Public Guardian’s Office for over five years, as well as advocating on behalf of employees discriminated against in the workforce, at the Law Office of Michael Radzilowsky his first year out of law school.
During Law School, Mr. Silton participated in the Legal Assistance for Minnesota Prisoner’s (LAMP); where he advocated on behalf of incarcerated individuals in immigration cases, family law cases, and civil cases against municipalities. Mr. Silton was a staff member for the Journal of Law and Inequality, where he penned and published an article on Racial Profiling entitled U.S. Prisons and Racial Profiling: A Covertly Racist Nation Rides a Vicious Cycle, 20 Law & Ineq. 53 (2002).
Before Law School, Mr. Silton participated in Americorps*NCCC, where he worked in several impoverished and vulnerable communities, managing issues from homelessness to education.
When Mr. Silton is not in his office, you may find him playing tennis or basketball, fishing, or spending time with his family.
